Re: and so can i carry a loaded shotgun in my machine or not?
Not unless your shotgun has a curt barrel and you have the tax stamp for it.
No loaded guns in vehicles, except for firearms.

The definition of firearm is different in many dissimilar places. Even dissimilar states have different definitions. But PA defines a firearm as:
"Firearm." Whatsoever pistol or revolver with a barrel length less than fifteen inches, any shotgun with a barrel length less than eighteen inches or any rifle with a barrel length less than 16 inches, or any pistol, revolver, rifle or shotgun with an overall length of less than 26 inches. The barrel length of a firearm shall be determined by measuring from the cage of the barrel to the face of the closed action, bolt or cylinder, whichever is applicable.
Edit: And it looks like your shotgun has an 18" barrel.

To ain either of those legally, y'all must have a NFA tax stamp like to the one you demand to take a machinegun, silencer, subversive device, etc. If you own the SBS or SBR legally nether Federal constabulary, then you lot tin can carry/transport it under PA police force. Then on top of that you must take a LTCF.
Short Barreled Shotgun(technically "smoothbore" under federal police force) = less than 18" butt or less than 26" overall length
Short Barreled Rifle = less than sixteen" butt or less than 26" overall length
